EBW Challenge - Little Rapunzel

Merry Christmas and it's time for the Elizabeth Bells World December 25th challenge. This month we have a theme of Card with a special shape or form. I've picked sweet Little Rapunzel from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection.

I decided to make a Layered Window Frame card based on a tutorial I had seen on SplitCoast Stampers. Here is my card, slightly side on so you can see the depth:

I printed Little Rapunzel on Copic Xpress card and coloured her in with my copics. The colours I used are: skin: E11, E00, E000, E0000, R20, clothes: YR27, YR24, YR21, YG95, YG93, C2, C00, R24, R22,  hair: E59, E57, E55, E53.
Here is a closer look at this lovely image:

Digi Bells Blog Hop for July

It is time for another Digi Bells blog hop and this month I'm the first stop on the hop, so you should have arrived here from the Digi Bells blog.  If not, you may want to start there so you see all the details. As always, our blog hop is a chance to welcome a new release digi from the amazing Elizabeth Bell...This image is another oldie, reborn as a digi, specially brought out from Elisabeth's Archive. It is called "Gold Fishing" and it is such a beautiful image:

My husband has a fish tank and while we have never had the kids trying to fish in it, some of my cats sometimes try. I have a lilac Burmese, Hugo, who used to try and help my husband clean out the fish tank until one day he fell in the tank and realised there was water in it.

For this challenge, I decided to make a clean and simple card using gold as my inspiration. I added the blue frame to tie in with the little boy's jeans. Here is my card:

I printed Gold Fishing with my Canon inkjet printer onto Copic Xpress Cardstock and coloured the image with Copic Markers. The Copics used are as follows: skin: E11, E00, E000, E0000, R20 boy's hair: E57, E55, E53, E51, E50, boy's clothes: B37, B34, B32, B91, B95, Y15, Y17, Y11, YR23, girl's hair: E39, E37, E35, E27, girl's clothes: B95, B93, B91, B97, R01, R02, R05, R24, kitten: C5, C3, C2, C00, fish: Y17, YR04, B00, Y26, Y23, C2, C0, C00, stool:E53, E27, E25, E21

Digi Bells Blog Hop for June

It is time for another Digi Bells blog hop and this month I'm the first stop on the hop, so you should have arrived here from the Digi Bells blog.  If not, you may want to start there so you see all the details. As always, our blog hop is a chance to welcome a new release digi from the amazing Elizabeth Bell...This image is another oldie, reborn as a digi, specially brought out from Elisabeth's Archive. It is called "Belle on Carousel" and I think this is one of my very favourite digis. Here she is:

I fell in love with this image as it reminded me of my childhood when I dreamed that I owned a riding school and could spend my days riding horses. I remember riding may carousels, always pretending that the horses were real and we were galloping over the fields, not just going around in circles. I'm sure that is what Belle is doing, with her eyes closed, dreaming about riding in her imaginary world:

I printed Belle on Carousel with my Canon inkjet printer onto Copic Xpress Cardstock and coloured the image with Copic Markers. The Copics used are as follows: skin: E11, E00, E000, E0000, R20 hair: E29, E27, E35 clothes: YG03, YG25, G20, Y17, E27, W09, W07, W05 Carousel horse: Y26, Y23, Y21, R27, R24, R22, B04, B02, B01, W00, W01, Y15, Y17, Y11, R21, R20, W07, W05, Y28
Here is a closer look at the delightful image.

I hope you like my card, I had all the intentions of making a 3D Carousel, but time just got the better of me this month. It certainly is something I have in mind to make a bit later on.

If you have just started the blog hop, keep following the trail to the very talented Carla.
