Digi Bells Blog Hop for May

It is time for another Digi Bells blog hop with a fabulous release from the amazing Elizabeth Bell,...This image is another oldie, reborn as a digi, specially brought out from Elisabeth's Archive. It is called "Belle's Laundry Day" and I had so much fun colouring her in. Here she is:

I don't know about you, but I'd rather spend my day crafting and colouring in the laundry basket of washing rather than doing the actual washing and ironing. Here is the card I made for the blog hop:

The Copics used are as follows: skin: E11, E00, E000, E0000, R20 hair: E57, E55, E53 clothes (both the ones she is wearing and the ones in the basket): B0000, B91, B93, B95, B97, R29, R27, R24, R22, R39, R37, G17, G12, Y26, Y23, Y21, R21, BV0000, BV000, BV01, BV04, COO, CO, C1, C2 Bear: E44, E43, E42 basket: YR27, YR24, YR23, YR21, YR20.

ABC Challenge: L is for Lots of Layers

Time for another fun challenge at ABC Challeges today. This time we are up to L and the challenge is to use Lots of Layers. Our sponsor for today's challenge is 7 Kids College Fund. They have so many gorgeous items available including Magnolia stamps, so today I used one of my favourite Tilda's. As for the layers,  I used 9 layers in my card, which is probably the most I have ever used.

For my card  I stamped Tilda loves flowers from the Magnolia Sweet Crazy Love Collection 2012 using Momento ink on kryogen white card stock. This gorgeous card has a fine gold sparkle through it and it is perfect for cards where you don't want the bright white card. She is coloured with my copics. The colours I used are  skin: E0000, E11, E000, E00, R20 hair: E37, E35, E33, E31 dress and shoes: B01, B02, B04, C7, C9 socks: C00, C3 flowers: YR20, YR21, YR24, BG93, BG96. I then used SU Oval framelits to cut her out and layer her onto a fancier oval frame cut using a Marianne Designs Die.

K is for Keep it Simple

It's the 1st of May and time for a fun challenge at ABC Challenges - we are up to the letter K and our challenge is to Keep it Simple. Our sponsor for this challenge is Oak Pond Creations. They have some lovely fun images and the one I chose to use for my card is: Love Kitty. Here is my card:

My inspiration for my cat came from the beautiful Burmese cat - and because it has just been Easter, I coloured my cat as a chocolate Burmese. I used to breed and show these lovely cats, and still have a few oldies at home. Here is a closer look:

We would love to see your fabulous creations in our K is for Keep it Simple challenge, so why don't you pop on over to ABC Challenges and join in the fun. You can also see what our fabulous DT has created to inspire you.
