Polkadoodles Christmas but not a card

Hi everyone and welcome to another brand new Polkadoodles Challenge. All our challenges are

Anything Goes

while for an added challenge the DT's are featuring Christmas makes that are not a card.

For my DT inspiration, I decided to make an advent calendar, just in time for December next week. My daughter and I have been trying to focus on eating healthily so the normal chocolate advent calendars are out this year. I think she will like this one though, I have filled it with all sorts of fun little gifts.

Each little box is big enough to fit some lovely gifts, and I did include a couple of chocolates:

I decorated each box with papers and cut outs from one of the design sheets from the Winnie Winterland collection.

Don't forget to check out the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog for some more fabulous  DT inspiration. We would love you to join us for our Anything Goes challenge, you might like to follow the optional "not a card" theme. If you need some more inspiration you might like to browse our Facebook page.

ABC Challenge - T is for Three

Hi I'm back with a new ABC Challenge and this one is T is for Three - we want you top use three of something on your cards. This challenge is sponsored by Marianne Design and today I've used three flowers, three pearls, three layers of background paper and a triple bow.

I made this as a birthday card for my daughter who is mad keen on snakes and has just got her very first baby Albino Darwin Carpet python. I never though I would say it, but he is very cute. I tried to colour the snake on the card the same way, because he is a pretty mix of lemon, salmon pink and white.

 Here is my card:

Polkadoodles Woven Paper Christmas

Hi everyone and welcome to another brand new Polkadoodles Challenge. All our challenges are

Anything Goes

while for an added challenge the DT's are creating a Christmas card with some woven paper.

For my inspiration this week, I  printed some of the lovely papers from the Winnie Winterland collection. I then cut them into strips and wove them into a mat. From my base red card, I cut a gingerbread house shape, layered the woven papers behind it and added some some white decorations. Then I used some of the cute characters from the Baked with Love collection to decorate my card.
