ABC Challenge - B is for Bugs and Bows

Today is the day for a new ABC Challenge and this one is B is for B? You Pick. For this challenge, you need to create something that starts with a B for example Blue, Buttons, Bright, Baby, Boy, etc.
This challenge is sponsored by Polkadoodles, and today I decided to use Hello from the Heart, an image from Polkadoodles brand new Lily Bug Love collection. To keep with the theme of B, I decided to make a Bow Card using a template from Sandra's Scrapsshop:

I printed my image on Copic Xpress cardstock using my Canon Inkjet Printer and coloured in the image with my copics. The colours I used are:  C9, C7, C5, C3, C2, C1, C00, R27, R35, RV14, RV13, RV23, RV21, RV10, E0000, E000, E00, E11, R20.

Here is a closer look at my image:

I also used some of the background papers from the Lily Bug Love collection for my card. They all coordinate so well and are easy to print out. You can see the whole collection on the Polkadoodles website:

Until next time, happy crafting...

Polkadoodles Twiggy and Toots

Hi everyone, I've been having fun this week colouring some of the super cute owl images from Polkadoodles Twiggy and Toots digital Collection. This time I decided to make one of the fun 3D birdhouses instead of a card. It was so easy to do and I think it looks just fabulous. Here is my finished project:

For this one I printed out the birdhouse on Matte photo card and cut it out using scissors. It also comes as an svg file if you want to use your electronic cutter. It was so easy to put together and everything just lined up perfectly. I then printed A Gift for You and Hats off Twiggy on Copic Xpress-It card and got out my Copics. These gorgeous owls are so much fun to colour. The colours I used are: W00, W3, W5, E59, E57, E55, E53, E51, E0000, Y26, Y23, Y21, Y00, Y28, B97, B95, B93, B91, B0000, R85, R83, R81, Y11, G20, YG03, YG25, YG67, R01, R02, YR21, YR01, YR02, YR00, C9, C7, C5, C3, C1, C00.

After colouring, I fussy cut the owls and created my scene. I then added some pearls and bling to the creations, and of course topped it off with a spray of flowers.

I hope you enjoyed my Inky Pinkies DT make for this week, happy stamping, Carol.
